OPI Participants part of the Solution

For the past few years, the Department of Volunteer and Career has organized a canned food drive for the November community service event. We typically run our event through the holidays and focus on a different organization each year. This year we chose to donate to SOVA which is a Community Food and Resource Program that responds to hunger in our local community.  With the economic downturn, the need for food has become much more severe as it is estimated that one in six residents of Los Angeles County are food insecure. We are halfway done with our collections and the response has been great. Once again Team OPI has come together to become part of the solution!
