NATSAP Irvine 2013OPI Living Programs for young adults, including the Optimum Performance Institute, the OPI Intensive and their Intensive Outpatient Program, are helping to sponsor the 2013 Annual Conference of the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs, also known as NATSAP. OPI Living Program co-founders Anne LaRiviere and Robert F. Fischer, MD, executive director, will attend the conference meetings February 7-9 in Irvine, CA.

The annual NATSAP conference is for mental health, allied health professionals and other youth advocates from throughout the country and abroad. Among the attendees will be program owners and directors, administrators, therapists, educators, educational consultants, social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists and guidance counselors and others.

Topics of papers to be presented will range from “Guided Imagery and Trauma Resolution” to “Five Strategies to Significantly Improve Treatment.”

NATSAP was created in 1999 as a national resource for programs and professionals helping young people cope with emotional and behavioral difficulties. To be a member, programs must be licensed or accredited by a nationally accredited behavioral health accreditation agency, offer therapeutic services overseen by a qualified clinician and agree to adhere to NATSAP ethical principles and principles of good practice.

OPI Living Programs are proud to be a sponsor of this year’s NATSAP conference in Irvine.
