OPI Honors ‘America Recycles Day’ with Recycling Challenge!

In honor of America Recycles Day, which took place on 11/15/12, the Optimum Performance Institute held its 2nd Annual Recycling Challenge.  OPI Staff and participants alike were encouraged to collect as many glass, aluminum and plastic bottles and cans and turn them into the office recycling bins for the recycle drive.

We exceeded our day-of goal of 200 pieces (last year’s total collection amount) and together collected 315 cans and bottles to recycle!

It was so much fun to witness the friendly competition between everyone and even better knowing that it was for the well-being and sustainability of our beautiful planet. We can’t wait to see how many recyclables we can collect next year in our annual drive, in the meantime; our recycle bins are present year-round to continue recycling efforts and keep the awareness going.
