Kim Jensen, Clinical Therapist Optimum Performance InstituteWe are delighted to welcome clinical therapist Kim Jensen, LMFT as the newest member of our clinical team! With more than 23 years of experience working with adolescents and young adults, Kim brings an array of experiences, methods and new energy to Optimum Performance Institute.

Kim has already started facilitating his well-known TraumaDrama group for our OPI and OPI Intensive participants who have struggled with trauma at some point in their lives, with encouraging results. We look forward to his continued introductions of new and exciting groups, ideas and trainings to the program!

Recently, we connected with Kim to ask him a few questions regarding his valued work here at OPI.

Q: What have you learned from the participants?

A: I continue to be amazed at the resiliency of the human spirit. I am grateful for the opportunity to partner with clients as they navigate life experiences to explore endless possibilities and create a brighter future.

Q: How have you motivated, inspired, and supported our participants?

A: I challenge, cajole, support and encourage through developing a personal therapeutic relationship with each of my clients that looks different for each one. I meet them where they are and encourage them to dream of a better future and take steps toward reaching those goals and possibilities.

Q: Have you been inspired by our participants?

A: Constantly.

Q: What changes have you seen in participants?

A: Taking greater control of their lives, looking for opportunities to make meaningful and lasting changes to the way they do life, an increase in self-awareness and the ability to tolerate distress.
