It’s Back To School Time here at OPI!

With the end of summer, those long and bright sunny days, outdoor vacations and extended trips to the beach also come to a close.

The end of summer also gives way to the beginning of fall and for students that means only one thing: IT’S BACK TO SCHOOL TIME!

Many participants attending one of the OPI Living Programs are attending the fall 2012 semester at schools in the greater Los Angeles area.

Highlighted are a few who are attending college for the very first time. One participant in particular is, “bursting with excitement,” to begin coursework at Moorpark College after recently completing high school this past June.

Another participant, an international student from France, will be a full-time student at Santa Monica College, which will be his first time ever taking classes in the US.

The majority of participants attending the fall semester are retuning to school after a hiatus due to medical situations and are enthusiastic to resume working toward their degrees.

In addition, our team at OPI is extremely proud of one of our Aftercare participants who will be completing his final semester of undergrad work at California State University, Northridge, and is on target to obtain his Bachelors of Science degree in math at the end of the year!

The Education Department wishes nothing for but the best for these students and is here to guide them on their journey of academic pursuits through the variety of services and support that we offer our participants.
