Marisela Guillén has always been passionate about helping students thrive academically. She believes any student can be successful with the proper guidance and support. Her philosophy is to get students reacquainted with school whether in a traditional or non-traditional setting. Her goal is to provide students with the tools necessary to succeed.
Marisela Guillén earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California Santa Barbara in Spanish with a minor in Education with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology. She continued her education at California Lutheran University where she earned her Masters of Science degree in Counseling and Guidance. Marisela also has a Pupil Personnel Credential along with a Child and Welfare Credential. Her experience includes working with college and high school students. Marisela volunteered at Oxnard Community College and Oxnard High School while completing her graduate work.
