OPI is located in a pleasant, secure environment in the San Fernando Valley near Los Angeles, California with easy access to downtown LA, West LA, and Malibu.

Residents live at a beautiful apartment complex complete with several heated swimming pools, a high-tech fitness center, outdoor BBQ area, and a clubhouse with game room. The complex includes gated entry and easy access to public transportation.

Some residents in Phase II live at another location nearby. This also is a beautiful apartment community with luxury amenities including swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness centers, clubhouse, basketball court and a large screen movie theater.

Both complexes are located close to Cal State Northridge and Pierce Junior College. Participants may also attend Moorpark College, Cal Lutheran, UCLA or UCLA Extension, Santa Monica City College, Los Angeles Film School, and The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) or take lessons at Playhouse West, Musician's Institute, and Westlake Culinary Institute.
