OPI Participants visit Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

OPI Participants visit Ronald Reagan Presidential LibraryEvery month the Education Department takes participants on an educational adventure. This month was no exception as participants were able to explore the wonders of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley. For example, our group was able to enjoy the Christmas tree exhibit, which highlighted the state of California. The display consisted of 23 Christmas trees representing famous landmarks and tourist attractions throughout the state. Participants were also able to view the Spy exhibit where they learned about the origins of espionage. In addition, they toured permanent exhibits that include going on board Air Force One, walking through The Oval Office, and touching a part of the actual Berlin Wall. Overall, the participants seemed to have a great time during the outing. Comments included “It was very interesting,” “It wasn’t what I expected it to be,” and “I thought it would be boring but it wasn’t.”
