The OPI Story

OPI was started nearly a decade ago by well-known psychiatrist, Robert F. Fischer, M.D., and Anne LaRiviere, to help young men and women ages 17 to 28-years-old find the internal balance and external support they need to make a seamless transition into adulthood.

It is more than just a youth treatment program. It is a highly therapeutic, caring and supportive environment THAT TREATS THE WHOLE PERSON, where Young Adults learn to set and meet goals for themselves in the real world, no matter what may have held them back in the past.

OPI is accredited nationally by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO), is a member the National Assn. of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) and has a Clinical Training Affiliation with Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles.
